Mobile tyre fitting can save time, but a good appointment starts before the fitter reaches the vehicle. The exact requirements will depend on the service, equipment and parking arrangements agreed with the operator.
Check the vehicle and tyre information
Take a note of the full tyre size and ratings, vehicle model and the tyres you want replaced. If the front and rear tyres are different sizes, record both. Mention run-flat tyres, tyre-pressure sensors or locking wheel nuts when known.
Make the location suitable
Use a firm, level and safe space with room for work around the vehicle. Check that the fitter can enter your property or parking area. Multi-storey car parks, gated sites or tight spaces can prevent suitable equipment from reaching the wheels. Permission may be needed at workplaces or communal sites.
Before the appointment
- Confirm the agreed location, timing and contact telephone.
- Check the quotation includes the relevant tyres, fitting and extra services.
- Know where the locking wheel nut key is, if your vehicle has one.
- Make arrangements for vehicle access and safe parking.
- Ask about balancing, valves, TPMS and disposal when applicable.
During and after fitting
Keep clear of the working area and follow the fitter’s instructions. Before you drive, understand any advice about tyre pressures, warning lights and required follow-up. Retain the receipt and product specification for your records.
Still planning?
You can submit a non-urgent enquiry with your postcode and preferred dates. No appointment is confirmed until the team accepts it.
