Home tyre fitting can be a convenient way to arrange replacement tyres without reorganising the whole day around a garage visit. The vehicle needs to be parked in a place where a fitter can work safely and lawfully.
Is your parking space suitable?
A private driveway is often straightforward, but access, lighting, parking restrictions and clearance around the wheels all matter. Shared car parks may need permission from the property owner or manager. Fitting directly on a narrow public road may be unsuitable.
Choose the right tyres
Check both your vehicle’s approved tyre specification and the markings on the tyres currently fitted. Share the full tyre size and speed/load rating rather than only the rim diameter. If your car has run-flat tyres, a tyre pressure monitoring system or staggered front/rear sizes, mention that in your request.
What an appointment may involve
After a quotation and time are agreed, a mobile fitter will assess the work area, remove the wheel, supply and fit the agreed tyre where appropriate, inflate it correctly and check the work. Ask which balancing, valve and disposal services are included in your confirmed quote.
Getting started
Enter your postcode, choose Home / driveway and tell us your tyre sizes and preferred timing. Availability and appointment times must be confirmed.
